Female, Age 50
Case Details
This Los Gatos woman in her late 50s came to our San Jose office concerned about changes she had noted in her lower face and cheeks. Several years ago, she had chosen to undergo facial and neck liposuction with a dermatologist. While this resulted in a tight neckline, it created an imbalance between the appearance of her neck and face. The liposuction also resulted in a skeletonized appearance of the jawline. We discussed several options to address her concerns and ultimately proceeded with the following plan: A modified deep-plane Facelift and Neck Lift was performed to re-suspend the soft tissue of the face that had begun to droop. These two combined procedures improved the balance between the neck and face. Fat Transfer (or fat grafting) was performed to replenish volume in the face where it was lacking and to recontour the jawline to a smoother, more youthful curve. Finally, a medium-depth Chemical Peel helped treat the fine lines and wrinkles of her face. With the right strategy, every patient should expect a natural and powerful rejuvenation.
