Case Details
This 46 year old Palo Alto teacher was interested in rejuvenating the lower eyelids. She noted changes to the lower lids over several years and finally wanted to make a change so as not to look so tired while at work or in her free time. She is a very energetic person and felt that her eyes did not represent how she felt inside. After discussing treatment options with the patient, we decided to perform lower eyelid blepharoplasty with fat transposition. Using this specialized technique, the excess fat in the eyelids can be used to volumized the tear trough, rejuvenating the eyelids while avoiding any hollowness in the area. The patient is very pleased with the outcome and now feels much more confident in the appearance of her eyes.
