Is PRF EZ Gel Safe?
PRF and PRF EZ Gel are considered safe for almost everyone, including people with autoimmune disorders and other health issues. Because it is autologous, PRF also significantly reduces the risk of allergic reaction. Possible side effects are rare but can include swelling, bruising, redness, and tenderness at the injection site, but these are usually temporary.
What is the difference between PRP and PRF?
While Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and PRF share the foundation of utilizing platelet-rich components, they differ in their application methods and benefits.
While PRP has proven very successful for enhancing microneedling treatments, PRF is considered the next generation of PRP. Fibrin is what platelets bind to as they circulate through your blood.
