What Is Sculptra Aesthetic?
Sculptra Aesthetic is an FDA-approved injectable that helps gradually replace lost collagen due to facial aging. Sculptra works subtly and gradually over time for a more youthful-looking appearance, and results can last up to two years.*
While Sculptra Aesthetic is a dermal filler it is not like most dermal fillers that consist of hyaluronic acid (HA) Sculptra is made-up of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible synthetic substance that stimulates collagen production.
For most people, Sculptra Aesthetic is intended as a one-time treatment regimen of up to four injection sessions scheduled about three weeks apart.

How Long Does Sculptra Last & What Is The Downtime?
Results of Sculptra have been proven to last up to two years. It is important to follow your provider’s instructions in terms of the number of treatments needed to achieve your desired result. The average regimen consists of three to four injections spread out over three or four months. Some people will see results after their first treatment, but Sculptra works gradually and most people need consecutive treatments to achieve their desired results. After the treatment, many people return to their normal activities immediately. However, there could be some slight swelling, redness or bruising near the injection site which usually subsides within 24 hours.
